Our History
Mount Clear College was established in the mid 1970s with the merging of Ballarat Girls High School (opened in 1874 and located in Barkly Street, Ballarat and the Ballarat Junior Technical School (opened in 1915 and was part of School of Mines Ballarat -SMB).

Earth Ed gives students the chance to be immersed in the STEM and emerging technologies. From everyday objects to the composition of the ground beneath their feet, students will look at their surrounds through a new lens of inquiry after a visit to Earth Ed.
